GQ Selects: Grenson The “Archie V” Wingtip Brogues
“Grenson is a British shoe that is extremely well made. It’s very well valued, it’s not inexpensive. I love these caramel tones. Even if you do wear grey flannel head to toe, it’s nice to give your feet a lift and this color with navy and gray and khaki or jeans, it feels like the color of the season. This is burnished, so it has an Old World feeling with a big bumper toe. The big bonus is this hybrid of having a boot sole to it in white, which is a real attention to detail and as practical as it is, it’s equally quirky, which gives it its joie de vivre, its spirit. I couldn’t love this shoe any more.”—GQ creative director Jim Moore
